What does Music mean to you?

“I think music in itself is healing. It’s an explosive expression of humanity. It’s something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we’re from, everyone loves music.” ― These words by Billy Joel defines music in the perfect sense. On this special occasion of World Music Day, let’s see what people have to say about music and how music heals them.

Music – a word that connects people, cultures and countries. The word itself it so strong and holds the power to heal the ones in need. If it weren’t for music, life would have been so dull. What would we do during so many occasions and activities like ladies sangeet and shadis, football world cup, cricket world tournament, clubbing, religious ceremonies, workout, gloomy days etc. It is music that enlightens our moments and memories. Sure, there are moments when music acts like salt on the wounds due to the bad memories attached to that one particular song. But in the end, you crawl back to music no matter what.
It was World Music Day this week, and I asked Twitter and Facebook people for their experience with music and how it helped them grow when they hit their rock bottom.

The answers that I got were funny while at the same time some of them were heart touching. It’s these experiences that make one realize how music has actually saved lives. Here is what people have to say about music:-
1. When music helped a person as a friend during her difficult times

2. When music helped a person find her husband *wink wink*

3. When music helped a person get over a bad break-up

4. When music saved a life

5. When music was like a therapy during depression

6. When music was a best friend

All these stories tell a lot about music and how it helps a person in his/her day to day life. I, myself, was saved by music during the worst days of my life. I am so grateful to Demi Lovato for her song ‘Skyscraper’ that made me believe that I am not worthless.
On this World Music Day, let’s thank music and especially the artists who make music for us. Whether it is pop, rock or classical, every genre has its own flavor. So let’s play our favorite song on this occasion and dance to it. What can be better than that?
Am I right or I am right *giggles*

  1. Hello ,

I saw your tweets and thought I will check your website. Have to say it looks really nice!
I’m also interested in this topic + have recently started my journey as young entrepreneur.

I’m also looking for the ways on how to promote my website. I have tried AdSense and Facebok Ads, however it is getting very expensive.
Can you recommend something what works best for you?

Would appreciate, if you can have a quick look at my website and give me an advice what I should improve: http://janzac.com/
(Recently I have added a new page about Rockwall Investments and the way how normal people can make money with this company.)

I wanted to subscribe to your newsletter, but I couldn’t find it. Do you have it?

Hope to hear from you soon.

    P.S.
Maybe I will add link to your website on my website and you will add link to my website on your website? It will improve SEO of our websites, right? What do you think?

    Regards
    Jan Zac
