#ShareASeat – An initiative by The Brown Scooter

Christmas isn’t just all about gifts but to every child gifts hold an important place in their life. In these busy times, when we often forget to live our life to the fullest.

Keeping with the holiday season, The Brown Scooter hosted the 4th season of #ShareASeat for underprivileged children of Angel Express Foundation last month in Mumbai. What felt like a breath of fresh air, this Christmas was not just about dining with our family and friends or attending a Christmas party or sleeping throughout the day to make for the day off from work; the day out with 120 children showed how one can make a difference in someone’s life by their small deeds.

Friends and family who volunteered and helped us raise money for the event not only got a chance to spend time with the children over a movie, Porsche drive, and more but also gave everyone a day to cherish for the lifetime.

“The ability to give back to others is very rewarding. Most of the time we don’t even realise how blessed we are,” Shailaja who attended the event with her sister quoted.

In our second year of association with Porsche India, Porsche Centre Mumbai arranged for an enthralling joy ride for the children. Here’s a glimpse of the children enjoying their time in the Porsche SUV with their friends, each frame, a kodak moment!

We all know how books make for a wonderful gift no matter the age of the receiver. The same was true at #ShareASeat! Bloomsbury India gave out some wonderful story books to the kids who couldn’t stop flipping through the book and check out what the other has received.

“People come and give them gifts, it is great to see you all youngsters to come out and spend a day with them. It definitely means a lot.” Said one of the official volunteers from the Foundation.

Lighting up the day with giggles and smiles’, the day moved onto taking home delicious meal boxes from Spice Box India after a movie and Porsche ride. In our 4th year of association with Spice Box, the brand aims to deliver home-cooked meals at doorstep.

And, how a meal is never complete without a sweet, Mad over Donuts bought jolly times and tasty cheers for all the children and volunteers before we called it a day! Take a look.

The Brown Scooter is thankful to all the people who generously contributed to make this happen!

Here’s to another year.
